About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

People I work with say I listen really close, that they feel really heard, seen, and valued when we talk.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I am a PhD level, sex positive, queer counselor with 15+ years of experience. I help people navigate painful relationships, build loving, meaningful connections, and experience more joyful, vibrant, and passionate relationships.

  • Together, we will:

Talk about relationships. How are your relationships? Do you feel free in your relationships? Do you find yourself betraying your own needs, emotions, and desires to gain love or approval from from others? Do you trade authenticity for acceptance?

  • I specialize in working with people who:

For most people I work with, relationships bring them to counseling. Sometimes people come to talk about problems in relationships with others and sometimes with themselves. Often, people focus on both.

  • I became a therapist because:

Because I wanted to understand relationships and to learn how to connect to others, and myself, in more fulfilling ways.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

My bookshelf. If you like to read, I have a lot of recommendations! All About Love, Attached, and Self-Compassion are a few of my favorites.

  • More about me and my practice:

This is a super small private practice. I usually see 2-3 clients a day. And it is the best part of my day.
