About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

My goal is to be that safe place for you. That person you know wants the best outcome for you and/or your family.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I'm a strength based therapist. I don't view myself as an expert but a open minded problem solver and listener! My approach is from a systems perspective.

  • Together, we will:

Trying to find the right therapist can seem overwhelming. It can be stressful and create anxiety. Having a therapist you feel comfortable with is vital. You need a place where you can feel safe to share all the thoughts and feelings you keep inside.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

I am an advocate and ally of the LGBTQIA gay/lesbian/trans community and work closely with this population in the therapy space to address issues many LGBTQIA individuals face.

  • I became a therapist because:

I became a therapist because I wanted to help families not lose love ones to prisons, early death, addiction, violence and self harm.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

The Comfy Place is very accepting and welcoming of all those that seek help! We are trauma focused and offer a variety of services.

  • More about me and my practice:

I'm Leigh, a family therapist at The Comfy Place. I aim to provide a safe space where everyone can feel welcome and to feel safe and protected. If you feel like this is you, then I would love to work with you!
