About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Warm, understanding and direct. I am not afraid to gently challenge.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

We don't exist in a vacuum. Our past experiences and relationships inform how we show up in the present. We will spend time looking at the past and important relationships, and may explore the dynamic in the therapeutic relationship.

  • Together, we will:

Work through problems, whether they be environmental stressors, relational issues, trauma, or an existential crisis. I want to learn who you are as a person, and together, we can discover the power of your story.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Have experienced trauma and grief, both "Big T" trauma as well as the everyday trauma and grief we all face. I have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, adolescents, and seniors.

  • I became a therapist because:

When I did documentary work, I discovered I enjoyed interviewing and hearing people's stories. I know firsthand how life-changing therapy can be.
