Something to know about my approach is:

The foundation of my work is psychodynamic. This means that the factors and experiences that have led to where you find yourself at this time are explored and processed. Additionally, I make use of mindfulness and behavioral modalities, when helpful.

Together, we will:

Explore and ease anxiety, depression, distressing thoughts and unhelpful behaviors, stress, confusion regarding self-identity, and/or past trauma/s.

I specialize in working with people who:

are musicians, artists, educators, and/or work in the social services. I integrate music therapy into my work when helpful. I also have extensive experience working with individuals living with a bipolar condition.

My office is located in the Loop and located minutes away from all El Stops.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a humanities teacher.
