I currently have daytime availability, but am flexible in making something work if we are a good fit
My clients describe me as:
Down to earth, compassionate, affirming, humorous, and creative.
Something to know about my approach is:
More than anything, my highest goal as a therapist is to build a strong rapport with each client. From this trusting relationship, I offer unconditional warmth and thoughtful clinical perspectives rooted in ACT, art therapy, and trauma-informed care.
Together, we will:
Unpack, critique, and become more resilient to the systemic forces that have led us to feel inadequate, make sense of relational patterns, develop more self compassion, strengthen the mind/body connection, and use art as a means of processing.
I specialize in working with people who:
experience some form of disability whether that is physical/mobility-based, pain-related, ASD/ADHD, or another chronic condition from birth or that has been acquired later in life. I also love supporting care workers and those experiencing burnout.
I became a therapist because:
my own therapy journey has been transformational. I hope to offer the same to others, especially those whose experiences I relate to directly.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
In person art therapy sessions are held in a community arts building which offers a collaborative and less clinical environment.
More about me and my practice:
My role in the therapy world is unique in that I live with chronic physical disability and hope to represent/provide care to an underserved population in psychotherapy. I am an artist, educator, dog mama, & avid thrifter. I'm lucky to love what I do.
