While starting therapy can feel like a plunge into a sea of unknowns, you’re not alone. I look forward to jumping alongside you.
Therapy is a collaborative and deeply personal process. In our sessions, we will take the time to understand who you are and what you have been through, working at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Together, we will work to uncover the root causes of your struggles, and help you develop a stronger sense of self and purpose. I can offer you a space to freely express and explore your thoughts and emotions, to make sense of your experience.
I'm passionate about supporting individuals who are struggling to find or assert their voice, uncertain about how to move forward, or fearful about how finding their voice and redefining themselves might impact their relationships with others.
Finding a life filled with personal meaning took time and effort. I'm grateful to assist others in finding meaning and direction in their own lives.
At Fermata Psychotherapy, our approach is not guided by defining “what you have,” but by understanding who you are and how you came to be.
I’m committed to honoring your goals and I welcome working with queer and gender-expansive populations. My practice is primarily psychodynamic in nature, non-judgemental, and rooted in respect for one’s identities and beliefs.
