Someone who offers her patients a nuanced and meaningful understanding of their personal struggles, feelings, behaviors and interpersonal issues.
I practice psychodynamic therapy. My approach is warm, non-directive, non-judgmental, and holistic, as it welcomes you as a whole, including your history, your background, your personality, and your embodied experience.
Revealing what motivates our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can unlock renewed self-awareness, leading to meaningful breakthroughs. This newly acquired knowledge can transform and enrich our perception of ourselves and of the world surrounding us.
People who struggle with anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. I also help them navigate cultural adjustments, interpersonal conflicts, separation, grief, perinatal and postnatal transitions, issues at the workplace, and parenting challenges.
I embrace my Middle Eastern roots and provide psychotherapy in English, French, and Arabic. My experience as a psychotherapist overseas and my years of clinical and community-based work enrich my patients with a new and fresh perspective.
