Weekday evenings and weekend mornings.
My clients describe me as:
Light-hearted, caring and open. I know how difficult therapy can be. I hope to create a warm and welcoming space.
Something to know about my approach is:
When you or your child work with me, I use a creative approach so that therapy can be fun and productive! For example, is your interest in video games, music, art? We can use that in therapy!
Together, we will:
Work towards your values and what you want to get out of therapy. Some people come to therapy to talk about every day stress. Others need a space to grieve or to work through life experiences. I am here for what YOU need.
I specialize in working with people who:
Adolescents and those who belong to the LGBTQIA+ community. I also work full time as a therapist within a therapeutic day school. I am well-versed in school anxiety/school refusal issues.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to help people even if it may be a minuscule amount.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I use your interests to make therapy fun! I understand that sitting down and talking to someone is not the easiest thing to do.
More about me and my practice:
I did not have the best experience with therapists as a child/teen. Ironically, I often hated attending sessions and did not want to engage in therapy. I understand what that feels like, so I hope to create better experiences for others.
