My clients describe me as:
warm, attuned, and easy to connect with.
Something to know about my approach is:
I work from a relational approach with clients, while also often using evidenced-based modalities such as ACT, DBT, and CBT. I see healing in relationships as one of the most powerful experiences humans can have and aim to foster a space for this.
Together, we will:
Identify your goals for engaging in therapy and collaboratively create a plan to build awareness, learn coping skills, change unhelpful patterns of behavior, and improve relationship quality in order to live in ways that align more with your values.
I specialize in working with people who:
are experiencing challenges with interpersonal relationships, perinatal concerns, mood and anxiety, career/burnout issues, identify has Highly Sensitive People, are current/former athletes.
I became a therapist because:
I believe feeling seen, supported, and healthily challenged by even just one person can make a world of difference in a person's life.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer telehealth therapy and will also be offering in-person services starting in summer of 2023 in the River North neighborhood of Chicago.
More about me and my practice:
I aim to serve as a guide and support as we work together to navigate your particular situation and experiences. I can support with present-focused interventions, as well as with deep seeded issues stemming from past relationships and childhood.
