My approach is to view all clients as unique individuals. Each has a distinct history, cultural background and a problem. Some cannot identify the source of their strife. I help them unburden their emotional pain and find a form of treatment that would be best. My goal is to empower each with strategies they need to get their lives back on track.

Together we will develop a supportive, safe environment enabling my clients to discuss their troubling concerns. Our relationship will make it easier for clients to face any fears and identify their strengths. As I see it, if psychotherapy was a car, our relationship would be the gas that takes you where you want to go in life. The two go hand in hand.

My clients describe me as: easy to talk to, able to explain complicated things in an uncomplicated way, very knowledgeable, supportive and good sense of humor. Lastly, they tell me I've been a caring and helpful psychologist who always finds time for them when they need to see me.

I specialize in working with people who are 40 years old or more and seniors. Most of my older clients see me for psychological issues related to chronic illness. Additional clients are 50years or older and having stress in the work place due to aging or other reasons.

I became a therapist because I had a close friend who had serious psychological issues as did his younger brother. Years of therapy helped both of them become successful in their life. When I was in high school I was already reading books on psychology. It was the subject that always interested me.

More about me and my practice is that it is a low volume office. It allows for appointments when you want them even with short notice. I do individual sessions via telehealth and home visits (only if the client is unable to leave their home and is in a limited distance from the office.)
