accepting, attentive, validating, calm, structured, empathetic, but direct.
Something to know about my approach is:
I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership and will collaborate with you to identify & set goals so you make the changes you desire. I provide a structured yet flexible approach. Whatever you walk in the door with will determine our focus.
Together, we will:
discuss, examine, challenge, & re-frame your thoughts. We will explore the use of mindfulness so you can increase your ability to remain in the present instead of staying stuck in the past or jumping too far into the future.
I specialize in working with people who:
struggle with anxiety and/or addiction issues. I help clients who worry non-stop, overthink things, find it hard to relax, stay in the moment, or quiet the mind. I also assist clients who are tired of self-medicating or coping in destructive ways.
I became a therapist because:
I get how anxiety feels & want to help you find relief. Having a life touched by addiction, I want to help you recover if addiction has impacted you.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
In and around Evansville, I offer in-person and online sessions. Online sessions are available to Florida and Arkansas clients.
More about me and my practice:
Change is possible when one ready to change. But the path to change is not always easy. I get it and would like to assist you with finding peace, feeling unstuck, or improving your situation. You have taken a big step. Take one more and call today.
