Queer and trans people are at the heart of my practice, alongside ADHD, autism, trauma, identity, and burnout. Before becoming a therapist I was organizing labor unions and doing a bit of direct action; that means we will be doing a lot of real strategy so we can build momentum in your life.

we'll figure out what has been happening, what helped you survive it, and what you want next. I am especially here for people who almost gave up on therapy. You don't have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or show up with a plan.

I came to therapy through community work and labor organizing. I kept seeing people carry pain that made sense in the world they had to survive, then get told it was just a personal problem. I wanted to help people make room for themselves and build something different.

I see teens and adults in Cedar Falls. Sessions are real conversations, sometimes with games - i have 2x 75" tv's so sometimes we play stardew valley or minecraft stuff like that, and you can show up exactly as you are. I write gender-affirming letters in the first session, pro bono.
