My clients describe me as:
Transparent and willing to laugh at my own mistakes, question assumptions, inspect my own biases, listen and hold space and hope for change.
Something to know about my approach is:
I am engaged in continuous learning and consultation so I can best support clients around their unique needs. I am always signing up for new trainings and learning new modalities such as brainspotting, so that I can offer tools beyond talk therapy.
Together, we will:
Begin to look at the themes that have brought you here and identify areas of growth, as well as your unique strengths, and build on them to help you create the rich life you deserve. I trust that you are the expert in your own life and I am a guide.
I specialize in working with people who:
Working with adolescents or young adults questioning their gender or sexuality or those who are just anxious about life transitions. I offer brief supportive counseling to parents of teens and young adults who are exploring transitioning.
I became a therapist because:
There were not enough in network providers when my own family member was exploring their gender and it inspired me to get WPATH training.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
It is a convenient location near walking trails and great restaurants if looking for in person, or it can be virtual in the comfort of your own home.
