Something to know about my approach is:
While I like to provide technical treatments, I also find it important to take the time to listen and to move at a pace you find comfortable.
Together, we will:
We'll explore and change patterns related to goals for therapy. In that process, you'll learn practical skills that will help you live with intention and manage the challenging thoughts, feelings, and urges that would otherwise get in your way.
I specialize in working with people who:
I work well with people who appreciate having identified goals for therapy and developing practical strategies to use in their everyday life.
I became a therapist because:
Life is hard and brains do quirky things -- it was exciting to learn that there are researched approaches that could help all of us live better.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Research supports the use of telehealth for a variety of treatments that I use in my practice: https://stonyrunpsych.com/telehealth&psypact.
More about me and my practice:
