I am available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings.
My clients describe me as:
a compassionate and dedicated therapist interested in holding space and being present with whatever challenges you are facing. I am here to help!
Something to know about my approach is:
I use therapeutic techniques rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based techniques. Using a multi-perspective approach allows me to help empower each unique person to manage anxiety, alleviate depression, and cope with life's transitions.
Together, we will:
process all things related to parenting during the birthing years (esp. pregnancy and infant loss, and the grief that follows). My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space for my clients to share, grow, and to expand their capacity to heal.
I specialize in working with people who:
have walked through the hardest, most traumatic and grief-inducing experiences. I am most interested in helping folks identify how and what they're feeling, so that they can use that knowledge to develop coping skills for anxiety, depression, etc.
I became a therapist because:
I have cared deeply about people for as long as I can remember. As a loss parent, I feel equipped and am honored to hold the heavy hearts of others.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am a Maryland licensed therapist who can provide telehealth to clients across the state. You can get the help you need without traveling far for it!
More about me and my practice:
I have 15 years' experience working in the field. I started out in community mental health, then moved on to emergency psychiatric care, and am now practicing privately. My life experiences have lent themselves to my specialties: grief and trauma.
