My goal is to allow you to feel heard, understood and supported. I'm warm and empathetic, but will also call you out when the need arises.

Something to know about my approach is:

I have a mostly CBT background - meaning we examine your internal process: the thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviors that you experience in a given moment. We'll practice noticing it all, and then we'll practice sitting with it.

Together, we will:

We'll dig into what's keeping you stuck: like getting sucked into your own dark, internal narrative; or avoiding anything that feels uncomfortable; or battling with reality over how it SHOULD be. We can also add EMDR to help address historical muck.

I specialize in working with high achievers who are constantly plagued with fears that someday soon, the whole house of cards is going to collapse all around them.

I became a therapist because:

I enjoy having deep conversations that remind me of the beauty and sorrow and complexity that is the human experience.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I offer it via Google Meet - from an office that I'm still working to outfit so the decor behind me changes ever so slightly week to week. Exciting!

I keep my practice small so that I can give my clients more of my focus. This allows me to research new perspectives on the concerns you bring forward, better assess the effectiveness of my work, and offer a liberal reschedule policy.
