Jon is interactive and compassionate. He will use what works for his clients. Hypnosis, talk-therapy, plus his golden retreiver Phoebe is the best.
I primarily employ cognitive behavioral techniques and strength-based therapy, but I am also trained in hypnosis, EMDR, DBT, and other alternative therapies.
It takes personal courage to ask for help, and my goal in working with you is for you to embrace your power and make the changes you want to enhance your life.
Folks who are dealing with trauma, addiction, or other life-changing issues (marital challenges, anxiety and depression, etc.) and need support, encouragement, and another perspective to grow and change.
I chose to work in the mental health field to become an active agent for change. I have done this through teaching, and through 35 years of practice.
Not so much where but who I work with. Phoebe is the granddaughter of my golden retriever therapy dog, Iris. She is warm and affectionate.
I have a wide range of life experience. I have done clinical work since 1979, been a professional soccer coach and have been a therapy dog breeder for the last 5 years. One or two of my pups are donated to be service or therapy dogs to others in need
