My approach is collaborative, gently structured, and grounded in evidence-based practice that helps promote real change. Sessions focus on understanding thinking patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors, with an emphasis on building skills that support change while still honoring each person’s pace and experience.

Together we'll identify unhelpful thought patterns and practice new ways of responding to anxiety and distress. We can use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention, & I-CBT; you may notice increased confidence and a greater sense of control in daily life and relationships.

Clients often describe me as calm, supportive, validating, and gently structured to allow for progress toward your goals. Sessions aim to be focused and nonjudgmental, and we will always follow up where we left off last week. I offer clear direction and tangible tools. Many share that they feel encouraged to face challenges in a way that feels manageable.

I specialize in working with people who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, doubt, or overthinking, including OCD & anxiety. Many feel exhausted by trying to manage thoughts or avoid distress, and may find that their own efforts to manage anxiety ends up increasing the anxiety. We can work through evidence-based strategies that can help break this cycle.

I became a therapist because helping people navigate life’s challenges and uncover their own strengths has always felt meaningful. I am a also a very strong advocate for mental health awareness and believe that recognition and acknowledgment of emotions is a first step to healing in many ways.

I work well with clients who have never been to therapy before or are nervous to return to therapy. I strive to make our meeting space one that feels comfortable & nonjudgmental; many clients inform me they feel comfortable from the first consult call. I strongly believe feeling comfortable and validated is a first step toward healing and self discovery.
