May Telehealth Openings!
My clients describe me as:
"someone who just gets me". "Marissa actually listens to what I say and responds without judgment." "She is an excellent listener and guide".
Something to know about my approach is:
that this is more than just "talk therapy". Big Trauma or little trauma, the symptoms are VERY real. The truth about trauma is that it lives in our bodies long after we've experienced the event(s), which is why my approach is somatic or body based.
Together, we will:
get curious about where trauma lives in your body and we will work together to reset your nervous system. I offer a concierge style approach to treatment because you DESERVE therapy that is tailored to YOUR needs. I'd be honored to work with you.
I specialize in working with people who:
have difficulty sleeping, eating, concentrating. Women who have relationship issues, who feel like they're on high alert all the time, who worry a lot, who tend to react first vs responding. Women who prioritize others at the expense of themselves.
I became a therapist because:
of the positive experience I had with my own therapist as a child. Yes, even therapists go to therapy. Life can be hard & we're all human.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Telehealth offers the convenience of therapy where you are.
More about me and my practice:
Through mindfulness, meditation and yoga, we will identify where trauma lives in your body and work together to lessen your symptoms so you can feel better soon.
