Many of my clients have experienced abuse/neglect, impacting their sense of self and reality, leading to self-medicating behaviors, people-pleasing, codependency, etc. Incidentally, I work with quite a few therapists, psychology majors and the like.

I became a therapist because:

When I first experienced unconditional positive regard it sparked my own healing and I felt compelled to share this gift with others.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I am not overly fixated on diagnosis and view each therapeutic encounter as unique which I think opens space for greater authenticity and growth.

My methods are trauma/neurobiologically-informed and evidenced-based, while remaining flexible and suited to your needs. I offer EMDR for those interested in an alternative to talk therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, etc.
