understanding, authentic, knowledgable, resourceful, creative, and easy to work with.
Something to know about my approach is:
I view myself as a guide within our therapeutic relationship. I believe all individuals possess the inner-knowledge and resiliency necessary to heal, and my role is to help us access that resiliency together.
Together, we will:
facilitate a safe environment to create a narrative around past traumatic experiences. This safe environment will be facilitated through coping skills, play, art, developing a trusting relationship, and education.
I specialize in working with people who:
Have experienced something traumatic or overwhelmingly scary. This could be sexual abuse, neglect, moving around in the foster care system, or a singular event, like a car crash.
I became a therapist because:
It's an honor to be able to walk with people in their stories, and I learn so much about life through my clients.
More about me and my practice:
