Daytime, Saturday and limited evening openings.
My clients describe me as:
compassionate, calming and curious
Something to know about my approach is:
I bring together research and strategies from attachment theory, the brain/nervous system/body and trauma to inform my work. It all comes down to relationships: the one we co-create as well as the one with yourself & your most important people.
Together, we will:
create a safe space for being curious about what is hard in your life and family. We will try on new "lenses" for seeing behavior, your child's and your own, craft a new narrative and experiment with new brain-body strategies.
I specialize in working with people who:
have experienced early adversity, trauma, adoption or who otherwise have a sensitive nervous system (health conditions, medical trauma, neurotype, sensory preferences). This includes children (newborn - 14), their parents and adults.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to contribute to children feeling safe, seen and soothed, including the inner children adults carry around and tend to.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Flexible options! We can meet in one of my offices or virtually depending on your needs, preferences and limitations.
More about me and my practice:
As an adoptee, adoptive parent and step-parent I also have lived experiences that allow me to speak from multiple perspectives.
