Dale's approach includes the concept of Wabi-Sabi 侘 寂. This aesthetic believes in the value of the broken down, damaged, worn out; We are all damaged and broken! Then discovering our beauty and perfection within our felt/perceived life imperfections.

I specialize in working with people who:

have been marginalized by life's events and experiences. Those who feel they got lost, stuck, or left on the side of the road somewhere; in need of someone to come alongside them and help them find the new potentials and possibilities of a new day.

I became a therapist because:

I was raised in and around a youth home (my parents were working and we lived there). I saw what and how trauma impacts youth and adults.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I am so impressed with the team of therapists/staff at Burton Professional Counseling. I wanted to become a part of it providing progressive support.

I am dyslexic which has made it so I have always needed to find new and different ways to make life work for me. This has made me see the world through a different, creative awareness lens that I can, you can, we can view things differently with hope
