Supportive, respectful, calming, laid back, non judgmental, and just a “regular” relatable person. I want everyone to feel validated and heard.
Something to know about my approach is:
My approach is designed to meet your needs as therapy is not a one size fits all. My sessions are very relaxed and personal. I want you to feel just as comfortable coming to therapy as you would having coffee with a friend.
Together, we will:
Explore and identify what issues or areas you’d like to focus on. Some things we may discuss are, coping skills, thought patterns, values, relationships, communication, and barriers of change.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are experiencing anxiety, unmanageable stress, depression and life transitions. I have a passion for working with teens and young adults experiencing difficulties navigating life stage related issues.
I became a therapist because:
Everyone deserves to live their best life! I’m committed to helping people figure out what that looks like and how to achieve happiness.
More about me and my practice:
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 2008. I have since worked with individuals of all ages and families to address areas of substance abuse as well as various mental health issues.
