My clients describe me as:
An understanding and nonjudgmental "safe" person who allows clients to freely express themselves and feel supported.
Something to know about my approach is:
I pair art therapy with evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and utilize traditional talk therapy with art therapy depending on a client’s needs and comfort level. If a client has no interest in art-making, that's ok too.
Together, we will:
Explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact and see where changes can improve concerns and ensure clients are living in alignment with their values.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment, & academic concerns, eating disorders, & body image issues. I’m committed to providing sensitive services to individuals of any age, culture, ethnic/racial background, & gender identity.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Our locations offer welcoming, comfortable spaces where clients can relax and focus on their mental wellbeing.
More about me and my practice:
As a counselor and art therapist in training, I believe in the healing potential of creative expression. In therapy, engaging in mindful art-makin can help to process and express inner experiences or to communicate when words are not enough.
