Some therapists just sit and listen or ask how your week is going, but I'm going to engage you and we'll develop plans and you'll have work to do on your own to help you heal. This isn't just talk therapy. You're going to learn new skills with me.

Together, we will:

Come up with a plan on how to heal and how to develop the skills you need to continue living a healthy life. That may mean workbooks or homework to do between sessions, but we'll work together to make than plan and then carry it out in your sessions.

I specialize in working with people who:

Suffer from a variety of issues and mental illnesses including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and extensive work in trauma especially associated with physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.

I became a therapist because:

I've always wanted to help people and therapy felt like an area where I could make a positive impact on people's lives.
