About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

    Calming, laid back, relational, gentle

  • Something to know about my approach is:

My approach is eclectic because humans are not all the same. Person-centered, collaborative, strengths-based, environmental, family system, generational and racialized trauma, systems, conflict and communication styles, are approaches you can expect.

  • Together, we will:

Build trust and rapport, be curious, process and reflect. We will explore how systemic racism and generational trauma has impacted mental health and identity. We will discuss your childhood, parenting and celebrate your progress towards your goals.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Are parents, adult or youth adoptees, adoptive, foster, kinship, transracial families, couples, individuals going through life transitions, individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, childhood trauma, and relationship conflict, etc.

  • I became a therapist because:

I enjoy listening to understand, and helping others understand the perspectives of their loved ones.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

Peak Behavioral Health is founded and owned by a Black woman, who employs many BIPOC therapists, who are needed in the community.
