About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Let's take a deep dive into your life and address your problems at their emotional roots.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I have a down-to-earth style that is balanced by an ability to be direct when needed. Sometimes, people need more than reassurance and support in therapy. Sometimes they need someone to tell what they need to hear, even when it's tough.

  • Together, we will:

I don't believe in "mental illness": No one comes to therapy because has been too awesome. When we can identify the source of your pain and heal it, we can change your life. Everyone can get better. They just need to find the right therapist.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

I specialize in trauma and what trauma *is* varies for each person. I work with many survivors of abuse, assault; military, medical, and first-responders; and complex trauma. Finally, I offer a therapy group for survivors of trauma.

  • I became a therapist because:

I went through a tough time as a teen and a therapist helped me figure things out. That experience inspired me to become a therapist, myself.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I provide in-person therapy in Minneapolis, MN as well as teletherapy in MN and to 39 other states.
