About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Let's take a deep dive into your life and address your problems at their emotional roots.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I have a down-to-earth style that is balanced by an ability to be direct when needed. Sometimes, people need more than reassurance and support in therapy. Sometimes they need someone to tell them what they need to hear, even when it's tough.

  • Together, we will:

I don't believe in "mental illness": No one comes to therapy because life has been too awesome. When we can identify the source of your pain and heal it, we can change your life. Everyone can get better. You just need to find the right therapist.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

GROUP THERAPY: Right now, I am not taking on new individual clients. Instead, I am taking on clients for my therapy groups which include: 1) female survivors of sexual trauma, 2) combat veterans (and medics), and 3) general group psychotherapy.

  • I became a therapist because:

I went through a tough time as a teen and a therapist helped me figure things out. That experience inspired me to become a therapist, myself.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I provide in-person therapy in Minneapolis, MN as well as teletherapy in MN and to 39 other states.
