Compassionate, straightforward, authentic, down to earth, good sense of humor, open minded, understanding, collaborative, respectful, curious.
Something to know about my approach is:
I offer a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy, viewing the client's problems through the context of their relationships and culture, looking for deeper meaning and purpose in the client's pursuit of self-discovery.
Together, we will:
Identify significant challenges the client faces and look for possible underlying issues in an attempt to alleviate symptoms, bring about lasting change and create new patterns for thinking and behaving while focusing on healing and self-compassion.
I specialize in working with people who:
have suffered loss, are in transition, have been impacted by cancer (adult or pediatric), who want to work on personal growth and development, and/or who would like a non-judgmental, compassionate space to explore existential considerations.
I became a therapist because:
I have a natural ability to be present with people and actively listen without judgment as I encourage growth in others.
