About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Calm, curious, empathetic, nonjudgmental. I pose gentle challenges to my clients when I think it may be helpful.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

It's most informed by psychodynamic, existentialist, attachment-based, cognitive behavioral, and feminist therapy traditions. I tailor my style to fit the unique needs and personality of each client.

  • Together, we will:

Explore your relationship patterns, existential concerns, and day-to-day stressors in order to empower you to make positive choices and to uncover any subconscious internal resistance to living the life you were meant to live.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

are feeling stuck or confused and are ready to begin--or continue--the fulfilling work of finding out more about themselves.

  • I became a therapist because:

based on my own experience as a client, I believe in the power of therapy to change your worldview and open you up to more enjoyment and vitality!

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

that we are housed in a beautiful Victorian-style converted home in the Uptown area of Minneapolis.

  • More about me and my practice:

I integrate social justice frameworks (racial, queer, and more) into my understanding of your unique life context. As a white cisgender person, there are many experiences I have NOT had, and I welcome feedback about what I might be missing.
