My clients describe me as:
Reflective, validating, & lighthearted. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, & empowered to enact the changes you wish to see in your life.
Something to know about my approach is:
Based on discovering and processing the dynamics you learned in childhood to understand how they might influence you today. I frequently use humor and sarcasm (and maybe a little cursing!) to help us tackle pockets of hidden shame in your life.
Together, we will:
Discover how unhelpful patterns may have developed, how they influence your current actions, and how you can develop new patterns. We'll process unresolved shame, guilt, and self-doubt, allowing compassion, self-love, and confidence to flourish.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are young adults recovering from narcissistic abuse, either from a parent or significant relationship. I also love helping folks struggling with imposter syndrome. With ever-increasing awareness comes agency, choice, confidence, and joy.
I became a therapist because:
I realized the effect that keeping my challenges to myself had on my own mental health. I want to help others so they don't have to feel the same way.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
How deep the work can go if you're open to exploring yourself. Aslan Institute is an amazing resource for holistic and integrative mental wellness.
More about me and my practice:
My practice is named after the Greek word "Telos," which was defined by Aristotle as an end, purpose, or goal. My passion is empowering young adults to discover their voice, realize their inherent worth, and forge their own purpose in life.
