Kay utilizes a strength focused approach that creates results - you have most of the information, we get to implement it together. Kay utilizes humor and swearing - she believes therapy is a place where you should be able to be yourself, unfiltered.

Together, we will:

explore the mental crud that wears you down, process the unseen wounds, reduce relational issues with self and others, process grief and loss, and explore work related stressors. We will work together to work me out of a job.

I specialize in working with people who:

have experienced difficult events, experiences, or relationships throughout their life. Kay has additional trainings and personal experiences in working with grief and loss, addiction, trauma, relational issues, and the first responder population.

I became a therapist because:

I know what it's like to feel lost and confused. I know how much grief changes our worlds. I want to help others through their pain.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I have the most comfortable amazon couch. Close to shopping and restaurants. Easily accessible by public transport.

Kay believes that a therapist can only take a client as far as they have gone themselves - I know what it is like being in your place, vulnerability can be very uncomfortable. I utilize approaches that connect mind and body to heal the whole person.
