My clients describe me as:
warm, supportive, honest, and non judgmental. Authenticity and comfortability in session are the basis of meaningful, effective therapy.
Something to know about my approach is:
it is client centered. I incorporate family systems and cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients better understand themselves. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilize a trauma-informed approach when appropriate.
Together, we will:
work collaboratively and problem solve tools to make positive change. I believe that building trust with your therapist is important, and I aim to make this process as stress-free as possible, so I will always go at your pace.
I specialize in working with people who:
have had relational trauma that affects their current relationships with themselves and others. This can often present in the form of negative self-talk and self-esteem, perfectionism, persistent feelings of guilt and shame, anxiety, and depression.
I became a therapist because:
Being able to see my clients make progress and find healing is invaluable and I am always honored to be a part of that process.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer individual tele-health throughout Missouri and California.
