My clients describe me as:
Clients know that they can trust me with anything. They know that they will never be judged. I won't lecture. I will provide tools for a better life.
Something to know about my approach is:
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, but start with respect and unconditional positive regard. Positive Psychology is my foundational basis for everything I do. While happiness is nice, well-being is the ultimate goal.
Together, we will:
define the problem(s), set goals for a better future, set specific objectives, and create a timeline for achieving it all. The keys are Positivity, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Achievement and Vitality. All of these are important to well-being
I specialize in working with people who:
have difficult lives. Most problems started from a traumatic event. I help clients to discover the roots of the problem, allow them to process it, then give them the tools to redirect their lives in a better direction with a better outcome.
I became a therapist because:
I have mental health diagnoses and was lucky enough to get help for them. I wanted to give back to those who are where I used to be.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I provide therapy on telehealth with a virtual background. The best part is that you can be comfortable wherever you are while receiving therapy.
More about me and my practice:
I have been in this field since 2012. I have provided services in correctional settings, rural community mental health settings, and online. I've met people all over the world by doing telehealth and I love it!
