My client's often describe me as safe, accepting, emotionally present, and curious about their experience.
I believe that humans have a large capacity to be autonomous and self-directed. Thus, as a psychologist I work toward helping my clients realize this potential, promoting adaptive ways of coping, and work myself out of job as a result.
We will work together in highly collaborative way. I don't know what 'the answer' or solution is, but we will figure it out together regardless of what your concerns are.
I specialize working with adults who suffer from grief and loss, trauma, and sport-related performance issues. I also frequently treat and enjoy working with depression, anxiety, sexual issues, and other concerns.
