Ever feel like the therapist in your own family? I see you. I’m a bilingual Latina therapist in NJ, dedicated to breaking mental-health stigma in our community. As a second-gen Ecuadorian, I get the love, traditions, guilt trips, pressure to please, and the struggle of honoring culture while breaking unhealthy patterns.

At The Emotional Knot Therapy LLC, I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life changes, and relationship issues. My approach blends CBT, psychodynamic, solution-focused, and trauma-informed care. In couples therapy, I use the Gottman Method to help partners build trust, intimacy, and better communication.

My style is a mix of big sister and cheerleader. I"ll challenge you when needed, celebrate your wins, and make sure you feel safe and supported. Therapy with me is about untangling the knots that hold you back so you can create healthier, more fulfilling patterns. And sometimes, my miniature pinscher Federico may pop in to say hello during our session!
