My clients describe me as:
Someone who is safe, warm, insightful, trusting, non-judgmental, and caring to work with.
Something to know about my approach is:
Hi, Welcome to Authentic Roots! I offer a unique approach to therapy called Yoga-Based Body Psychotherapy. It blends both Western psychotherapies; talk therapy with Eastern spiritual practices such as Yoga, Meditation, and Somatic body work.
Together, we will:
Unburden from past traumas and/or layers that still negatively impact your life and present relationships, shifting from helplessness to empowerment. Healing from painful past hurts and moving forward to discover more of your Authentic Self.
I specialize in working with people who:
experience Trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties, and/or life transition issues. I take a holistic approach to therapy and treat the whole person; body, mind, emotions and spirit.
I became a therapist because:
I revel in helping people feel empowered and access strengths that were previously inaccessible.
More about me and my practice:
I have a unique approach to therapy, where I take a "top down"/"bottom up" approach. I incorporate both compassionate psychotherapy such as Internal Family Systems along , with authentic movement, yoga, mindfulness and somatic experiencing.
