Throughout my development and training as a clinician, I have tried to maintain a fresh and open empathetic approach to helping individuals and couples. My ideal goal with each client is to establish rapport in order to make a connection.

Learning to help oneself in a safe and comfortable meeting space helps one to relax and be themselves so they can feel better as soon as possible.

I am a Columbia University trained licensed clinical social worker who has been working in the field of social work for 37 years.

I have a multitude of experience working with depression, anxiety, couples and various phase of life issues. Many times what brings a client in for a first meeting is what appears to be a precipitating crisis that requires a resolution.

I believe that i help clients work through their underlying issues so they do not reoccur. People can then go on living their best life with improved coping skills and experience a better sense of control.
