Q&A
I have a upbeat, creative, empathetic, spiritual, warm and non-judgmental personality which clients report make it easy and natural to open up to me.
I believe that therapy is an avenue to self improvement, healing and transformation. I see myself as a guide who supports clients in their journey of personal and emotional growth. I empower my clients to make changes to improve their lives.
I help clients become more self-aware, improve self regulation/coping skills, heal from past stressful experiences, enhance their communication skills, gain insight about their relationship, and understand their emotions/thoughts at a deeper level.
I see clients across the lifespan and provide counseling to children, adolescents and adults. I have 12 years of counseling experience and have provided therapy to a diverse group of clients over the years with many different issues.
I was naturally drawn to becoming a therapist due to an interest in helping and healing others and my curiosity about people.
I provide video counseling visits to make therapy more assessible and convenient to my clients.
I use traditional counseling techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy, as well as complementary therapy approaches to help clients work towards greater happiness.
