I currently have a limited number of day and evening openings.
My clients describe me as:
Authentic and genuine. Who I am in real life is who I am with my clients. I can only hope that creates a space for warmth and comfort.
Something to know about my approach is:
I only use evidence-based treatments. In an effort to honor the time and effort you put into therapy, we will use therapeutic techniques that are backed up by science and are effective in treating a variety of psychological symptoms.
Together, we will:
Problem solve what is preventing you from living the valued life that you deserve. Collaboration is key - you know yourself best. I am here to learn from you, to understand your suffering, and guide you back to an engaged and meaningful life path.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and cultural adjustments. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient units; school-based mental health programs; higher education learning environments; and correctional settings.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to evoke change around how mental health is perceived and supported, especially in minority cultures and populations.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
My office is located in the heart of downtown Metuchen - it is easy to treat yourself to some self-care right before or after our session together!
