I see clients Monday-Fridays, starting at 2:00 and ending at 6:30.
My clients describe me as:
encouraging and supportive, with just the right amount of kick-in-the-butt accountability.
Something to know about my approach is:
I have a piece of artwork in my office that says "Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional." (attributed to many). I use an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which helps you deal with your current reality while taking forward steps.
Together, we will:
create a space where you feel safe saying out loud all of the jumbled-up or self-critical things going on in your head, figure out what is keeping you stuck, and identify strategies that help you live a rich, full, meaningful life.
I specialize in working with people who:
are feeling stuck--unmotivated, paralyzed by fear, or trapped in their circumstances.
I became a therapist because:
nothing feeds my soul more than having someone trust me with their vulnerability. I love seeing the positives in people that they can't see themselves
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
My office is located within a church, but you do not have to be a member or affirm any religious belief to work with me.
More about me and my practice:
Mission: Transforming lives by connecting people to their own strengths and futures through an environment of caring and trust. Vision: People are unstuck and taking actions in line with their values so that they can lead rich, meaningful lives.
