Evenings, Saturday mornings
My clients describe me as:
Empathetic, knowledgable, reliable, caring, humorous, flexible, client-centered, feminist
Something to know about my approach is:
I use different modalities, all of which are through a feminist and culturally sensitive lens. Together we will choose what type of therapy works best for you.
Together, we will:
Improve self-esteem, strengthen coping skills, build boundaries, gain better self-awareness, tackle your life’s curveballs, and shape your perspective on life.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are overcoming traumatic experiences, dealing with life obstacles and change (I.e. going to college, caregiving, break up or divorce, grief), struggling with anxiety about the future, trying to achieve a healthier relationship with food and movement.
I became a therapist because:
I know it can be hard to overcome life’s challenges alone and I truly feel that connection through therapy will lead to changes you want.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I specialize in movement based therapy, which allows me to walk or run with you as we talk. I can also meet with you virtually or in an office.
More about me and my practice:
As a walker and runner, I immediately saw the connection between mental health and movement. I utilize health at every size ® concepts to help you achieve peace with food and body. I also use talk therapy if you prefer a traditional type of therapy.
