My clients describe me as:
Therapy with me is not passive. I encourage active participation and collaboration, empowering you to take an active role in your healing journey.
Something to know about my approach is:
I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused therapy to help you grow and develop effective coping strategies.
Together, we will:
I provide a supportive and encouraging environment where you can explore difficult emotions, gain insight into your patterns of thinking and behavior, and develop new ways of coping with life’s challenges.
I specialize in working with people who:
Many of the people I work with identify as BIPOC, which means they’re Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. Others identify as LGBTQIA+, which stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and more.
I became a therapist because:
I like to listen to others, understand what they’re going through, and help them find ways to feel better and cope with their feelings.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I prioritize creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone, especially those who identify as BIPOC and LGBTQIA+.
More about me and my practice:
I believe in honoring each individual’s unique experiences, perspectives, and identities, and I incorporate culturally competent and affirming practices into my therapeutic approach.
