My clients describe me as:
warm, nonjudgmental, reassuring, encouraging
Something to know about my approach is:
Art therapy directives are a powerful non-verbal intervention for those struggling to find the words or needing a new perspective. Based on your goals and needs, we may use art making every session, or we may use more traditional talk therapy.
Together, we will:
Explore the experiences and internal beliefs that guide you and contribute to how you make meaning of your current experiences or self image. We will work to heal any parts that have become stuck so that you can live a more grounded, authentic life.
I specialize in working with people who:
are coping with trauma or major life transitions; have struggled with self esteem or body image; experience overthinking and anxiety; are exploring their identity, are curious about creative approaches to therapy and over-all health
I became a therapist because:
I am also a human living this wild life, trying to make sense of it, and healing parts of myself. Being a part of others journeys is an honor to me.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
About 10 minutes from Syracuse University and 17 from SUNY ESF.
