About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

I'm an easy-going, friendly and patient counselor. I try to connect early and often on a human level. Human contact is extremely important to my style

  • Something to know about my approach is:

My style is collaborative and engaging as well. In terms of Christian Counseling, I allow the client to direct the level of religiosity they would feel comfortable working with during session(s).

  • Together, we will:

Discuss the issues, clinically problem solve, and discover unhelpful thinking/beliefs in order to replace them with health ones.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Feel disenfranchised, forgotten and unloved. Jesus never forgets a living soul and is willing to accept whoever is willing to come. At Love Don't Play this includes the particular population of urban youth which often say this is how they feel.

  • I became a therapist because:

I feel like I've been a natural counselor all of my life and that clinical training is what professionally legitimized what was already present.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

Therapy is online only at this time. In my background you'll see my degree(s) and a cross representing Jesus the Christ.

  • More about me and my practice:

I'm happy to work with you! Please be sure to take advantage of the free 15-minute phone consultation!
