I strongly refrain from a "one-size-fits-all approach as we all have unique identities. My approach is non-directive and trauma-informed, I think about what happened to you and how it lives in your body.
Together, we will:
Create a space in which we can begin your healing journey and learn skills to understand and gain insight of your past experiences. We can discuss any challenges in your life, including if this is your first time in therapy.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are motivated to learn more about themselves and open to lean in to their curiosity. Individuals who want to go to therapy but are holding a lot in their plate. I am here to help you unload and process any thoughts that may feel destructive.
I became a therapist because:
I'd like to provide a safe space for POC folks who experience language barriers in the counseling room and support their mental health.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
In my virtual sessions, I focus our work by establishing (emotional/physical) safety in your body and some folks like to include their pets as well!
More about me and my practice:
I provide virtual therapy in English and Spanish for folks located in NY. I am aware how expensive living in NY is so I offer a sliding scale as well.
