"You get me" "You're really (exploitive) good at your job."
Something to know about my approach is:
I use a person-centered approach that allows me to customize services to your unique needs. You will always be in the driver's seat and set the pace, tone, and mood in sessions. I'll expose your blindspots by helping you look inward & reflect.
Together, we will:
Tackle issues related to adulting, adjusting to college life, negative thoughts that obstruct your progress in life be it by provoking anxiety or depression, parenting and being a "bad mom", and more.
I specialize in working with people who:
Adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, chronic medical issues, and/or in need of maternal mental health support especially those in black, latine, and afro-latine community.
I became a therapist because:
Our ancestors' legacy isn't one of pain and trauma; it's resilience, community, and inner strength. I love helping people tap into those gifts.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I create a safe virtual space where my clients can be vulnerable, feel supported, express, and hear themselves.
More about me and my practice:
I encourage my clients to take an active role in their treatment and so together we come up with action steps or tasks to be completed in between sessions based on your strengths; progress happens in and out of the office.
