Tuesday thru Friday, with limited evening hours.
My clients describe me as:
Insightful, present, affirming and collaborative. They expressed feeling safe, validated, heard, and understood in sessions.
Something to know about my approach is:
That I ask thoughtful exploratory questions, have energetic, thoughtful and nuanced discussions about what matters the most to you. I draw from mindfulness, CBT, and parts work, which includes a focus on the present while being informed by our past.
Together, we will:
Practice compassionate curiosity and authenticity to themselves, validating their emotions, understand and uncover motivations and beliefs that are barriers to health, and building affirming thoughts and beliefs toward their sense of self.
I specialize in working with people who:
Cultural identity and family of origin issues, anxiety, stress, excessive worry and rumination, depression, perfectionism, procrastination, unhealthy relationship patterns, codependency, grief and loss, addictive patterns, and spiritual/faith issues.
I became a therapist because:
I found so much healing and self-understanding through my own journey of therapy and support groups, that I felt called to bring the same for others.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am fluent in Cantonese and English, and I also speak Mandarin.
More about me and my practice:
You may be going through transitions, significant changes in work, family, relationships, and are overwhelmed with anxiety, uncertainty and feelings of loss. If this has been your experience, there is help to walk towards healing and renewal.
