I provide a safe space for clients to voice their needs, examine how they relate to themselves and others, and to learn adaptive coping skills.
Something to know about my approach is:
As a queer affirming and culturally sensitive therapist, my objective is to reduce feelings of isolation and otherness. I use a client-centered, warm and empathic approach to assure my clients feel safe enough to deepen their self-knowledge.
Together, we will:
I hold space for my clients to become curious about, process, and make sense of their past experiences and how they may be shaping the present. I work with my clients to understand their nervous systems and what coping skills may work best for them.
I specialize in working with people who:
Find themselves questioning their purpose in life and re-examining what they want and who they are. My clients are often moving through life transitions, examining their relationships and how they show up, and dealing with stress and anxiety.
More about me and my practice:
I also have a special focus on working with queer adults who are exploring their identities, coming out, processing internalized homophobia, and finding community.
