That I'm effective at explaining concepts, as well as identifying and addressing the factors that might be holding them back from important goals.
I'm an expert in evidence-based treatments for a wide range of psychological conditions. This often requires a structured approach to therapy. Treatment will likely involve weekly "homework" assignments, the use of worksheets, and monitoring forms.
Together, we will identify which factors are maintaining any distressing symptoms and preventing you from reaching your goals. We will then collaborate on a treatment plan to relieve symptoms and make progress on your goals.
I specialize in depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder, Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, Substance Use Disorders, panic attacks, suicide and self-harm behaviors.
I was working with college students in recovery from substance use and witnessed how effective evidence-based treatment could be for them.
